Current Academic Writing Course

Academic writing is the primary writing style used in academic environments (university, master’s, doctoral, studying abroad), and in most subjects, written exams, assignments, theses, dissertations, scholarship applications, letters of recommendation, etc. Academic writing skills are also key in preparing for international certifications such as IELTS (academic) and TOEFL (writing section). One of the reasons for poor results is a lack of foundational knowledge in this skill.

To help learners build, strengthen their knowledge, and develop academic writing skills, Englishme.vn offers the following course:

Course Name: Developing Academic Writing Skills

Target Audience: Students who want to improve their academic writing skills in a systematic and sustainable way, including those who have, are currently, or will be preparing for international certifications.

To develop and improve academic writing skills through familiarization with and practice of major academic texts/paragraphs, including: generalization-exemplification, cause-effect, problem-solution, opinion paragraph, process paragraph, graph reporting paragraph, descriptive-narrative paragraph, etc.

Duration: Total 40 hours (2 hours x 20 lessons)

Format: Online, interactive via online learning platforms (Zoom or Google Teams)

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (For other time slots, please inbox us on the page)
